Monk's House Garden

A cottage and cottage garden, owned by Virginia Woolf and her husband from 1919-1969. It has ponds, an orchard, flint walls, yew hedges and a vegetable garden which was a particular interest of Leonard Woolf's. As a writer, Virginia Woolf was Modernist. As a gardener, she was Robinsonian Arts and Crafts.
