Built in 1725, Buxted Park is a Georgian Palladian Mansion in 312 acres of parkland, lakes and formal gardens. The River Uck flows through the grounds and deer roam the park. The fountain in the forecourt came from Sir Robert Peel's garden. Buxted Park is a good base for exploring a fine selection of gardens - Sheffield Park Garden, Bateman's Garden, Chartwell Garden, Wakehurst Place Garden and Nymans Gardens are all within 30 mins journey from the hotel.
