Broadgate

The best late-twentieth square in London adjoins Liverpool Street Station. It was designed by Arup Associates in the late 1980s and has become very popular with office workers. The design sits between modernism and postmodernism. A circular arena is used in winter as an ice-skating rink and in summer for various lunchtime performances. The property managers are good at organizing outdoor events.
