Parc Georges Brassens

On the site of a former slaughterhouse, this park was opened to the public in 1984. It was named after the poet and musician Georges Brassens who lived nearby (at 42 rue Santos-Dumont). The design is typical of its period, an early sign of the landscape and garden design enthusiasm which has blossomed in France since c1980.
