Hoyt Arboretum Garden

Hoyt Arboretum has more than 1,100 species from around the world and 12 miles of trails from which to view them. Planting at Hoyt Arboretum began in 1931 according to a design by Scottish born horticulturalist John W. Duncan. Trees are arranged in family groups. There is a Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the south slope of the arboretum (visible on the satellite image if you zoom in on the map below).
