Wood, John

English architect, known as 'Wood of Bath'. As a young man in Yorkshire he drew a plan of Bramham Park. He remembered this plan when designing streets, circuses and squares in Bath. He also designed Ralph Allen's house at Prior Park, a notable essay in the Palladian style.
