Virginia Robinson's house was designed by her father (of Robinsons May department store) in 1911 and is one of few Beverly Hills mansions open to the public. Fred Astaire, Charles Boyer, Maurice Chevalier and Ronald Reagan came here. The lush gardens have tropical and subtropical plants, patios and fountains. With a swimming pool instead of a traditional pool, the garden is laid out like a mannerist villa.
