Princes Park Liverpool

A classic example of the Victorian park as 'a serpentine park in an urban setting'. Princes's park was designed by Joseph Paxton and James Pennethorne in 1842. The plan was drawn by John Robertson and Edward Milner supervised the work. The park has a serpentine lake and a circular carriage drive.
