Holdenby House Gardens and Falconry Centre

A Victorian house and garden, on Elizabethan remains. The forecourt arches survive from what was once a very large Elizabethan house. It belonged to the Queen's chancellor, Sir Christopher Hatton. There is a 1980 'Elizabethan garden' designed by Rosemary Verey, with clipped yews and a sundial.
