Villa Taranto

The botanical garden was created between 1931 and 1940 by a Scottish Captain, Neil McEacharn and has been open to the public since 1952. There is a terraced garden, bog garden, winter garden, Dahlia garden and herbarium. Captain McEacharn died in 1964 is buried in a mausoleum in the gardens.
