San Francisco at Evora

A Jesuit institution was founded here in the sixteenth century. The buildings are now used by the University of Evora and the former cloisters are now popular university courtyards. Some of the classrooms have blue and white glazed tiles showing Plato and Aristotle teaching in a garden setting.
