Rio Grande Botanic Garden

The garden is part of a large site which also includes an accredited zoo. It symbolises the path taken by a drop of rain as it travels from the Rio Grande to the Gulf of Mexico. There is a 10,000 square foot glass conservatory containing desert and Mediterranean native and exotic species. Concerts are performed in the botanic garden during the summer.
