Prinz-Emil-Garten, Darmstadt

The garden was built from 1772, modelled on the English landscape garden. Once complete with pond and waterfalls, ha-ha, chapel, mock ruins and a Chinese pavilion, only the pond and the Prinz-Emil-Palais survived the past two centuries.
