Old Nectar

Una Dorothy van der Spuy (b1912) bought a Cape Dutch house, Old Nectar, in 1941. She made a garden here and became well known as a writer on South African garden plants. The property has since become a National Monument. Also see here for more information on Una Dorothy van der Spuy.
