McBryde Garden

The McBryde Garden was originally known as Lawa'i Garden but was renamed after the family who originally owned the valley. It was the first site obtained by the nonprofit National Tropical Botanical Garden and has a very large collection of tropical plants. McBryde Garden is also the NTBG's headquarters. The garden includes a Canoe Garden featuring plants brought by the original Polynesian settlers, and Bamboo Bridge. Lawa`i Stream runs through the garden.
