Kagyu Samye Ling Tibetan Buddhist Garden

A modern Buddhist garden is being made by the Kagyu Samye Ling Buddhist garden at Eskdalemuir in Southern Scotland.  The statues and symbols are traditionally Buddhist, including stupas, prayer flags, Avalokiteshvera/Chenrezig and Green Tara. But the garden design layout is contemporary. It draws on themes connected with world peace, health and wellbeing, sustainability and organic vegetable growing.
