Fransican Monastery

Dubrovnik's Franciscan Monastery (Franjevacki Samostan) was founded in 1317 and rebuilt in 1667, after the earthquake. It has a peaceful cloister which survives from the original building. It is now planted and managed as a renaissance garden.
