Centre for Alternative Technology CAT

Set in a Welsh valley, the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) (Canolfan Dechnoleg Amgen) is an eco-centre which aims to demonstrate sustainable development. It is open to visitors and has examples of green roofs, ecological planting, solar, hydro and wind power, a low-energy house, organic gardening methods, a hydraulic ram pump and rammed earth buildings.
