Botanic Garden Bonn

There is drawing of a castle and garden here 1578 and a new garden was made for the rococo-style Clemensruh Palace (Poppelsdorfer Schloss) after 1740. The University was founded in 1818 and led to the making of a botanic garden which retains some of the elegant grace of a court garden.
