Tube Screen Fence

Previous - Next

Among the Screen Fences specially referred to, the "Tube Screen Fence" is deemed the grandest in style, and is suited for large gardens in front of, or in proximity to, buildings of fine proportion. As with other lightly constructed fences, the cords and knots employed in the binding of Screen Fences, receive much attention. The material is generally made from the fibres of the sago palm dyed to a deep brown or black colour; in many cases the stems of creepers are preferred.
