The following may be employed at the base of rocks and boulders:�Rhodea japonica, Aspidium tripteron, Rhododendron indicum, var. macranthum, Polypodium lingua, Arundinaria japonica, and Senecio k�mpferi. It is not usual to place plants in front of single stones, but between groups of two or more.
