Puerto de Sta Maria Cadiz

On Monday, which was the 21st day of the month of May, in the year of our Lord 1403, the said ambassadors arrived at the port of St. Mary, and on that day they caused part of their provisions to be sent on board the carrack, besides some which had been brought from Seville and Xeres, by some of their men. On the following Tuesday, which was the 22nd of the same month, they got under weigh, together with Master Julian Centurio, the captain of the vessel in which they were embarked; and on Wednesday, at about sunset, they were off the cape called Spartel, with a fair wind.
