Hicks, Ivan

Ivan Hicks studied arboriculture at Merrist Wood and worked for on Edward James' West Dean Estate for 15 Years, becoming interested in a surrealist approach to garden design.Hicks designed "Butterfly World" at St Albans, the ''Enchanted Forest'' at Groombridge and the ''Garden in Mind'' in at Stansted park.
