Finding and visiting gardens in Norfolk

Norfolk has some good coastal scenery and the Norfolk Broads, an area of flooded peat workings with many country homes producing the character of a water garden suburb. Norfolk also has several important gardens to visit: Sheringham Park (Repton’s most complete design), Holkham Hall (with a garden by William Kent and Lancelot Brown) and the royal garden at Sandringham.
