Outdoor lighting - review

Garden lighting:

• is decorative, even if viewed only from indoors
• allows the use of gardens on warm evenings
• lets people negotiate garden paths in the dark
• discourages burglars

• electric lights supplied by low voltage or high voltage electricity supply
• solar lights supplied by photo-voltaic cells
• gas lights, supplied by bottled gas or mains public supply
• oil lights, supplied by kerosene (also known as paraffin)
• candles, using paraffin wax
