An Italian Arts and Crafts garden on a 37 acre island in Bantry Bay. The planting benefits from the sea's warmth but suffers from the wind - though it benefits from being the sheltered harbour of Glengarriff in Bantry Bay. Harold Peto designed the garden in the Arts and Crafts Style. The garden has a clock tower, a Grecian temple, a Martello Tower, and an Italian casita (small house).
