Holyrood Park

Holyrood Park is the most dramatic natural urban park in the British Isles. Its main feature is the core of an extinct volcano, known as Arthurs Seat. The vegetation is semi-natural. J C Loudon, towards the end of his life, suggested it should become a cemetery.
