The house was designed by William Adam. The park has a rectangular pattern of avenues. The garden has bastions, a parterre, a cascade and a basin.

William Adam Palladian style stately home that sits in a designed landscape. Current Capability Brown style parkland was formerly formal gardens laid out in 1720s encompasing parterre and a cascade.

Entrance fee Adult £5.00 for house tour. Grounds free.
