Pebble beaches

An extended beach, covered with sand, pebbles, or shells, whether attached to an island, or forming a portion of the shores of the lake itself, is, in some form or other, invariably introduced into artificial water scenery. A group of rocks, a "Snow-view Lantern," and often a few shrubs and plants, add interest to these pebbly reaches.
