Brick and stone walls

The brick and stone wall is a stone wall faced with 4 in. of brickwork, or what is called brick and bed, on the side most exposed to the sun, as on the south sides of east and west walls; and on the insides, for the sake of appearance, of the two end or north and south walls of enclosed gardens.
