Crystal bell cloche

1867. The crystal bell, or receiver (figs. 484, 485, and 486.), used in gardening, is generally from three to eight inches in diameter, and from four inches to one foot in height. These glasses are employed in striking tender cuttings in the exotic departments, especially heaths.
