The Inn at Southall has a small garden and a tulip bed; and the window of the bar is filled with green-house plants, the landlord and his daughter being both remarkably fond of flowers. Circumstances of this kind are highly gratifying to us; and are only second, in the impressions which they make, to those which we receive on witnessing care and attention bestowed on cottage gardens.
