Briggs Villa Acton

Previous - Next

Briggs's Villa, Acton. - Beautifully situated on a bank which slopes down to a small brook; the lawn studded with choice shrubs, and varied with beds of flowers, and the steps to the house embroidered with pots of house-plants. The main entrance literally stopped by a hedge of Campanula pyramidalis, at least 6 ft. high. We have admired this place for years, without having before mentioned it in print.
