We are proud to hold a Gold Award for Green Tourism. This 3 acre country garden is on the edge of the Great North Forest with stunning rural views in all directions.The nursery & coffee shop are in the old walled garden with paths leading to further secret gardens each with its own distinctive character.Organically grown vegetables & herbs, mixed borders of trees, shrubs & perennials, meadow, bee & butterfly garden, meditation garden, ponds & Topiary garden. The nursery sells an unusual range of hardy plants grown in the gardens and interesting artefacts from a bygone age.

Large range of Hardy herbaceous perennials includes: Hellebores, Jeffersonia, Hemerocallis, Iris, Asters, Euphorbia, Geraniums

Bulbs include; Alliums,Anemones, Galanthus, Aconites, Ranunculus

Herbs; culinary, ornamental & medicinal.

Mail Order; bulbs only during winter months

    Well worth a visit. The beautiful gardens and views were only narrowly surpassed by the excellent coffee and cakes! As cyclists, we were provided with a friendly welcome and safe storage whilst taking a well earned rest.
