The estate has a medieval hall (c1270) with substantial Jacobean and Georgian extensions. The garden is more recent and is planned as a series of Arts and Crafts Style garden rooms, including a Shakespeare garden, a walled garden, a rose garden, a cathedral garden, a silver garden, an orchard and a moat pool. Alan Titchmarsh described the garden as 'a tapestry of colourful blooms'.
