Marwood Hill Garden

A very well planted woodland garden with 3 small lakes, a bog garden and a scree garden. It was created by Dr James Smart (VMH - Victoria Medal of Honour), who moved to Marwood in 1949. The garden has 3 National Collections - Astilbes, Japanese Iris and Tulbaghia. The inspiration is gardenesque planting design.
