An Arts and Crafts garden designed by Thomas H Mawson, with Dan Gibson's help. His style can just be recognised in the terraces, rose beds and herbaceous borders. When Mawson first presented his scheme his client remarked that 'If I wanted straight lines I could have done them myself'.
