Blake Garden

The garden began in the 1920s as the home of Mr and Mrs Anson Blake. The design was by Mable Symmes one of the first students at the Berkeley Department of Landscape Architecture. The garden is now run by the Department as an outdoor laboratory for plants and planting design and other studies in landscape architecture and environmental design.
