Go to Sheffield Park Garden
Visted this woodland garden to see a lovely show of autumn colour. The shores around the lake are planted with an interesting array of trees and shrubs, which contribute to a stunning visual spectacle.

(4.0/5)What a sublime setting to have such a stunning show of Autumn colour. It was looking gorgeous in the strong sun, the colours glowing beautifully.
It seems the NT are investing generously; the number of new trees being planted is a good sign.
I would imagine this place is also a veritsble picture in the sproing when the Arhodos Azaleas and MAgnolias are in full show.

(5.0/5)September/October are some of the best months of the year to visit this wonderful garden if you want to enjoy the autumn colours.
Special opening hours are posted on the Sheffield Park website, so do check them, but throughout October, when the acers are spectacular, the garden is open seven days a week.
A MUST SEE for autumn leaf colours!
