Bentley Wood

Also known as 'The House at Halland', this house survives but is not open to the public. It was a prime example of the Abstract Modern Style in the UK, designed by Serge Chermayeff (architect) and Christopher Tunnard (landscape architect). By 1980 the Henry Moore sculpture had gone and the garden design was changed to almost Arts and Crafts. A restoration to its modernist splendour has been planned.
