    Groups (10+ adults): £7.90 per person when booked and paid for 7 days in advance, otherwise £8.90 per person.

  • Parking

    Parking was increased in 2007 from 1100 to 1467 spaces. We also have a coach park, disabled and parent and child parking all free of charge.

  • Disabled Access

    Our staff will be pleased to assist visitors with any special needs. Car parking spaces for Blue Badge Holders are located near the Garden Entrance. Adapted toilet facilities are available inside the garden and outside near the car parks. Our onsite catering facilities are all fully accessible, as are the Wisley Shop, the Plant Centre and the Garden Library. Wisley, like many other Gardens has varying and sometimes difficult surfaces so a free visitor map showing suitable routes around the garden is available from the Garden Entrance. Wheelchairs are available and there is a free electric mobility vehicle operating around the garden. We have plenty of wheelchairs so unless you need 5 or more of them, you won't need to reserve them. We have a limited number of single electric mobility scooters for hire. These must be booked in advance (phone 01483 212307). Prior experience of using one is required. You will also be asked to sign a form and pay a £5.00 cash refundable deposit when you collect your scooter.

    The Wisley Shop has one of the most comprehensive gardening book selections in the world, as well as a wide selection of inspirational gifts to suit all tastes - including cards and stationery and contemporary products styles as well as RHS designs and timeless favourites.

  • Restaurant

    The Terrace Restaurant-For something a little more special; book a table at our waiter service restaurant. Whether your group would like to enjoy a two or three course lunch, or relax with a High Tea, the Terrace Restaurant welcomes group bookings. Advance reservations are required, and for groups of 10+ can take the option of our group menu.   • Light Refreshments

    Wisley has 3 cafes located within the garden. Conservatory cafeteria-Our main self-service cafeteria offers everything from hot meals, salads, sandwiches and a huge selection of our famous Wisley cakes and pastries. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The Glasshouse Cafe-The Glasshouse Cafe provides visitors with a modern venue to enjoy modern cuisine whilst overlooking the impressive Wisley Glasshouse. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Orchard Cafe-Open during summer months only). The Honest Sausage at the Orchard Cafe offers among other refreshments, sausage and bacon sandwicheswhich can be eaten indoors or in the outdoor seating area. There is also The Wisley Coffee Shop located in front of the Wisley Shop (outside the garden). The Coffee Shop serves speciality coffees, sandwiches, soup, pastries, and Wisley cakes. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

  • Picnic Area

    Wisley offers two specially designated Picnic Areas in the garden. Visitors wishing to picnic in the garden should use these areas. Picnic hampers and cool-boxes will not be allowed. We also have a picnic area located next to the Coach Park outside the garden.

  • Pets

    Only guide and registered support dogs are allowed in the garden.

  • Alcohol license

    The garden has an alcohol license.

Grow Your Own Weekend 26 – 27 March, 10am– 5pm Free with normal Garden entry Enjoy planting demonstrations; expert advice from RHS gardeners; Ask the Gardener Q&A sessions (pre-book on 0845 612 1253) and cookery demonstrations; all to help inspire you to great things in your own garden. Orchids in the Glasshouse 26 March – 30 April, 10am– 4.30pm Free with normal Garden entry Admire the most beautiful and fashionable orchids from the Wisley collection, expertly showcased in our awe-inspiring Glasshouse. Easter Holidays 9 – 25 April We have two fun packed weeks of activities to keep you and the kids occupied this Easter with everything from sowing and growing everlasting flowers to following our fun Family Garden Trail over the Easter weekend. Remember though, there is also space to relax this Easter amid the sights and scents of our beautiful spring garden which is abloom with white magnolias, pink camellias and red tulips. The Power of Plants – sow and grow statice - everlasting flowers. Sat 9 – Sun 10 April, Wed 13 – Thurs 14 April, 10am – 12noon, 1pm – 4.30pm The Power of Plants – make a super growing plant art activity. Mon 11 – Tues 12 April, 10am – 12noon, 1pm – 4.30pm The Power of Plants – sow and grow the herb Penny Royal. Fri 15 – Sun 17 April, 10am – 12noon, 1pm – 4.30pm The Power of Plants – make a super growing plant art activity. Contemporary Craft and Design Fair 29 April – 2 May Free with normal Garden entry Enjoy a diverse mix of contemporary home and garden crafts. Browse and buy from a huge range of exhibitors, specially selected for their innovative designs. May Half Term Brilliant Bees 30 May – 3 June Come and join in the fun with our Brilliant Bee themed activities this May Half Term. With everything from making bee finger puppets (30 -31 May), sow and grow to encourage bees to come to your Garden (1 -3 June) and a Theatre show all about bees and honey (2 -3 June) (Pre- bookable). As you can see we have something to keep everyone entertained. All activities are free with normal garden entry. RHS Budding Gardeners Competition 28 May – 5 June 2011 ‘Pallet gardens’ measuring only 1m square will be filled with decorative ideas and practical planting schemes to inspire visitors to get growing in their own small spaces at home. Taste of Summer 25 – 26 June There is nothing more quintessential than a British Summer Fete and a Taste of Summer at RHS Garden Wisley is just that! There will be cream teas, live music, grow your own fruit and veg advice and family activities set in the beautiful early summer gardens at Wisley. The Great Garden Adventure 25 July – 31 August The Great Garden Adventure is back during the summer holidays where we will have plenty of activities to keep the entire family occupied and remember all Kids Go Free! Surrey Sculpture Trail 27 August – 2 October Once again the Surrey Sculpture Society trail fills the Garden with an eclectic mix of sculpture all from local artists. Visitors will be able to walk through the Garden whilst marvelling at distinctive and breathtaking sculpture exhibits which showcase everything from the traditional to the contemporary. Wisley Flower Show 9 -11 September This popular late-summer Show, with award-winning nurseries and garden trade stands selling a wide range of plants and garden sundries is a highlight in the Wisley events calendar. A Taste of Autumn 20 -23 October Celebrate the with food stalls, apple tastings, cookery demonstrations, fruit and vegetable displays and much more. October Half Term – Tremendous Tree 24 – 30 October This October Half Term is all about Tremendous Trees with loads of drop-in activities for all the family to enjoy.
