A wonderful piece of history! The garden is large and rambling with some superb features such as the azalea displays. Everywhere you walk you come across something interesting. Well done to the current owners for attempting a very manpower-hungry restoration. Despite heavy rain I really enjoyed my visit.

I was lucky enough to visit Munstead Wood when the Azaleas were in full bloom, the sight and fragrance was beautiful, the whole garden is lovely, and is kept just as I imagine it would have been when Gertrude Jekyll was living there. It is well worth a visit.
