Recently visited, not hugely impressed. Pretty garden and grounds but not much else. I didnt pay extra for entry into the castle though.
The cafe is awful though. I had to seek a refund for the brown water that was apparently hot chocolate and the uneaten food from other customers is recycled right under your noses at the counter, something I found really disgusting. It was only some biscuits (no wrappers) from a customers tray but it made me wonder what else they resell, as they offer salad lunches and cream teas..... :(
Not impressed.

(1.0/5)I think the previous review hits the nail on the head. There's lots to see and do but there is no sense of a wow factor. There should be with a moated castle but there isn't

(2.0/5)Although there is a fair bit to see by the time the assorted gardens have been viewed and the walks around the wooodland have been made, it isnt a place that makes you think 'Wow'. But it could be. It has evidence of previous investments made in some interesting creations, but at the mo' it seems to be in need of much more funding.it has lots of potential.
