This site appears to be more interested in promoting the erroneously named 'Follies' than the house and gardens of the Hall itself which are, admittedly, difficult to gain access to but outstanding examples of late 18th and 19th century design and restored in the 1990s with help from English Heritage. The magnificent landscape park which is now known as 'The Follies' was principally created in the second half of the 18th and early years of the 19th century.
