Gardenvisit Editorial

A fine Arts and Crafts public park, designed by Thomas Mawson. A central axis runs from the pavilion to the lakeside summerhouse. There is a boathousee, a horseshoe-shaped landing area and a great oval bowling green. Mawson wished to retain views to open country and he succeeded. His use of local ceramics for the detailing is notable.
