There are walls and terraces near the house, which was designed by a pupil of Lutyens. A woodland garden with a stream and pools in a warm sheltered valley running to the sea. It was made for Sir Rupert and Lady D'Oyly Carte.

Opening times - Mid March to October. Wednesday to Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays. Open 10:30am to 5pm. Also open Mondays late July to late August.

    Sometimes we must leave our objectivity behind.

    Coleton is a house and garden I'd love to own. The terraces around the house feel like a cottage garden, whilst streams and pools lead us to the sea.
