Hofgarten Wurzburg

The garden of the bishops's palace (Residenz Würzburg) was designed in the German baroque style (Johann Prokop Mayer 1735-1804) - without avenues because of its urban location. It was converted to an English style in the nineteenth century and then restored to the baroque style.
