Vácrátót Botanical Garden

Vácrátót Botanical Garden was established in 1827 and has been open to the public since 1961. There is a rock garden, statues, glass houses, lakes and islands.  The climate is harsh and the garden focuses on Hungarian flora and species from the Russians steppes, Central-Asian mountains, Rocky Mountains in America and the trees and shrubs from the Far East.
