Instituto Moreira Salles IMS Burle Marx Garden

Roberto Burle Marx designed an abstract modern garden and a famous ceramic fresco for the Moreira Sales house. The architect was Olavo Redig de Campos and the house was built 1949-51. The garden has been restored and is now part of the Instituto Moreira Salles, IMS, in Rio de Janeiro. Walter Moreira Salles was a banker and diplomat.
