Gardens in Greece

Greece is a problematic country for garden visitors. While it is clear that much European garden-culture came under the influence of Greece, there is disappointingly little to see of whatever gardens were made in the Greco-Roman period. There are, however, a number of modern Mediterranean hotel gardens in Greece.
